New suite of Access to HE Diplomas for August 2024

Changes to Access to HE confirmed by QAA: Diploma Specification and Grading Scheme

Qualification Summary

The range of units chosen for this Diploma will give a good overall view of the Travel and Tourism industry with a flavour of Business Management.

Students will be able to see the links between the two areas and understand how they work together and how reliant they are on each other to ensure a Travel and Tourism company is successful.

The units will allow students to consider their options for further study and then progress onto either Travel and/or Tourism Management undergraduate degrees.

The ungraded units have been selected to provide underpinning skills which will support academic study, but will also provide students with relevant skills to continue onto further study.

Funding information

There are now two main sources for funding information, a straightforward ESFA Qualification Search and the more detailed Find a Learning Aim website.

The new Find a learning aim (FALA) service provides a search tool that you can use to check the funding status of any qualification, framework, unit, standard or T Level:

The Education and Skills Funding Agency search provides funding information on qualifications. It does not provide funding information for units, non-regulated activity and work placements, for this information please use Find a learning aim (FALA).
