Introduce Safeguarding Qualifications to your Curriculum to Meet Ofsted Requirements 

Over recent years, Ofsted has placed an increasing focus on safeguarding and the protection of children, young people and adults. 

At Gateway Qualifications, we have developed a number of qualifications that can help you ensure your leaners are educated in staying safe and, by delivering a qualification, you will have an audit trail ready to demonstrate your commitment to inspectors.

British Values
This short qualification is accessible to learners of all cultures, ages and abilities. The content of the course breaks down complex concepts, using straightforward language, and often, scenario-based assessment questions. Assessments are online, on-demand and consist of multiple choice questions - all designed to relieve centres of administrative burdens. For more information, click here

Available at all levels, our E-Safety qualification has been developed to ensure adults and younger learners make safe a responsible decisions online. The objective of this qualification is to teach safe online behaviour when using a variety of different technologies. For more information, click here.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with knowledge and understanding to safeguard others, and how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused. There is no requirement for learners to have prior skills to take this qualification and the progression opportunities could lead to further learning on supporting the development of children and young people.
