We are seeking skilled and experienced self-employed contractors who have specialist knowledge in ESOL qualifications to join our flexible Wider Workforce team in the following two roles: Chair of Examiners and Chief Examiner.
Chair of Examiners (ESOL – Skills for Life Qualifications)
In this role you will support the maintenance of standards in groups of qualifications across different subjects and methods of assessment from year to year. As Chair you will also be responsible for monitoring the standards of the Chief Examiner.
You will provide leadership in a subject/curriculum area by chairing any Awarding process meetings, maintaining and monitoring standards, responding to escalated queries from the Chief Examiner and collaborating closely with our Product and Quality Assurance teams.

Chief Examiner (ESOL – Skills for Life Qualifications)
In this role you will provide support and guidance on monitoring the standards of the Principal Examiner and Principal External Quality Assurer.
You will provide leadership in a subject/curriculum area by chairing meetings, maintaining and monitoring standards and collaborating closely with our Product and Quality Assurance teams.
