Gateway Qualifications is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to shape, manage and support the Strategic Implementation Programme (SIP25) which is set up to deliver the changes required to successfully deliver on the Gateway Qualifications’ Strategic Plan 2022-2025. The SIP25 Senior Responsible Owner, who is also the CEO of Gateway Qualifications, is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to ensure the delivery of this ambitious programme.

Reporting to the Senior Responsible Owner, the Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the whole of the proposed change programme, co-ordination of the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.

The Programme Manager will be required to enhance and develop the programme and project methodology, using their experience and knowledge to build on the methodology already in place.

The Programme Manager will develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it.

What we are looking for

  • Degree with a relevant post-graduate or vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate, MSP Practitioner or equivalent along with a good working knowledge and experience of utilising the concepts and techniques of MSP to successfully deliver transformational change.
  • Experience of managing to successful conclusion major change programmes consisting of multiple projects, ideally in an education setting, with evidence of delivering and embedding significant change.
  • Sufficient experience and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme.
  • Evidence of successful programme management and delivery of desired outcomes.
  • Proven planning and dependency management skills including the ability to prioritise across a number of complex work-streams and initiatives.
  • Good knowledge and practical use of tools and techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes and projects.
  • Experience of successfully applying change management tools and methodologies.
  • Sound business case development and approvals skills.
