We are looking for a Quality Officer to join the Quality Assurance Department.

As Quality Officer you will be responsible for reviewing processes relating to the centre monitoring and validity of regulated qualifications in respect of Ofqual and QiW. You will co-ordinate and report on internal and external assessment of qualifications, liaising with assessment development personnel, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and quality.

This is a very busy role that requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently to respond to customer needs.

  • At least two years’ general administrative experience.
  • Experience in the awarding organisation sector or in a similar education-based quality related role. (Desirable)
  • Strong written communication skills.

What we offer:

We offer a great employment package that includes 30 days paid holiday (pro rata for part time staff) plus public holidays, a career average defined benefit pension scheme, and an individual LinkedIn learning licence giving access to a variety of courses to support your Continued Professional Development (CPD).

You’ll be mainly based at home and will therefore need a reliable, high speed internet connection and a quiet, suitably furnished, place to work. You must be able to commute to our Colchester office as required.

If you join us, you’ll be joining an award-winning team who work hard every day to make a difference to the lives of learners.
