The Department for Education (DfE) announced last year that they were introducing an entitlement to fully-funded digital qualifications from August 2020.
These qualifications are intended for adults with no or low digital skills and will give them the opportunity to undertake digital qualifications based on new national standards.
We are holding focus groups across the country and online to consult with providers who may wish to deliver this entitlement. Some focus groups are more suitable for managers/decision makers and others for practitioners.
The aim of the focus groups is to enable us to better understand your needs and the needs of your learners in order that we can develop fit for purpose qualifications.

Focus groups are taking place on the following dates. The focus group for managers/decision makers will be in the morning with the practitioner group in the afternoon:
- 20th August – Colchester (Practitioner group only)
- 9th September – Birmingham
- 10th September – Manchester
- 12th September – London
