Over recent years, Ofsted has placed an increasing focus on safeguarding and the protection of children, young people and adults.
At Gateway Qualifications, we have developed a number of qualifications that can help you ensure your learners are educated in staying safe and, by delivering a qualification, you will have an audit trail ready to demonstrate your commitment to inspectors.
This short qualification is accessible to learners of all cultures and ages. The content of the course breaks down complex concepts, using straightforward language and often scenario-based assessment questions. Assessments are online, on demand and consist of multiple choice questions – all designed to relieve Centres of administrative burdens.
Available at a range of levels, our E-Safety qualifications have been developed to ensure adults and younger learners make safe and responsible decisions online. The objective of this qualification is to teach safe online behaviour when using a variety of different technologies.
Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with knowledge and understanding to safeguard others, and how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused. There has been no requirement for learners to have prior skills to take this qualification and the progression opportunities could lead to further learning on supporting the development of children and young people.
