Contextualising ESOL

In order to meet the needs of your ESOL learners, there may be instances when you would like to amend the context of the assessment tasks. At Gateway Qualifications, we allow centres to ‘contextualise’ or amend tasks so that they more appropriately reflect learners’ own experience, culture, age or even vocational learning.

For guidance on how assessment tasks can be made more appropriate for different learners, join Bridget Smith for a webinar on contextualising ESOL.

The session looks at examples of adapted tasks and offers direction on how you can contextualise tasks yourself.
