Apprenticeship Standard: Healthcare Support Worker

The Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship standard is designed for apprentices working as part of a team providing care to individuals such as monitoring an individual’s conditions by checking things like blood pressure, temperature or weight, and checking on their overall progress, comfort and wellbeing.

Job roles may include a range of healthcare settings and teams may include workers from both health and social care.

Full details of the standard are available on the Institute for Apprenticeships website.
