We’re delighted to be exhibiting at the HOLEX Summer Conference and, as part of our exhibitor activity, we’ll also be hosting a webinar with North Yorkshire County Council Adult Learning and Skills.

HOLEX is delighted to welcome Gateway Qualifications and North Yorkshire County Council Adult Learning and Skills service to this practical and insightful webinar supporting Adult Community Education (ACE)  learning organisations to strengthen their digital skills provision.

As an awarding organisation committed to widening participation, Gateway Qualifications works closely with ACE learning organisations and employers to design accessible, relevant qualifications that respond to real‑world skills needs, drawing on national insight and sector‑wide engagement.

This webinar will focus on real‑world practice, with North Yorkshire County Council Adult Learning and Skills Service sharing their experience of designing and delivering an engaging digital curriculum that meets local needs and supports learner progression. The session will show how their digital curriculum aligns with Ofsted expectations around quality, inclusion and outcomes, offering a practical and honest view of what implementation looks like in practice.

 The session will cover:

  • Essential Digital Skills for life and work, including available delivery pathways
  • Practical approaches to closing the adult workforce Digital Skills gap
  • Supporting learners and organisations to stay safe from cybercrime and online threats

*This event is exclusive to Holex members*
