In this session, we recap what a personal statement is and then dive straight into the details of what each paragraph should contain.
This will be shown via breaking down the structure and layout and using example paragraphs to help write your own. Students will learn the ABC technique to structure their paragraphs and come away with not only making a start on their statement but the confidence to continue it independently. Students should come prepared to start writing their statement, digitally or on paper, and use this session as an opportunity to ask questions to help aid their writing.
