Colleagues across Gateway Qualifications took part in a virtual Afternoon Tea in support of Breast Cancer Now, raising more than £150 while enjoying an opportunity to connect and spend time together.

Organised by the Gateway Qualifications Staff Engagement and Wellbeing Group, the event brought colleagues together from across the organisation for an afternoon of conversation, quizzes, raffle prizes and, of course, plenty of tea and treats.

As a remote workforce, opportunities to come together socially play an important role in helping colleagues strengthen connections and support one another. The event also provided a chance to support a charity whose work has a personal impact on many individuals and families.

The funds raised will help Breast Cancer Now continue its work supporting people affected by breast cancer and funding life-changing research.

Fabienne Bailey, CEO of Gateway Qualifications, said:

“I’m incredibly proud of our colleagues for coming together to support Breast Cancer Now. Events like this demonstrate the generosity, compassion and community spirit that are such an important part of Gateway Qualifications. It was wonderful to see staff connecting, having fun and raising money for a cause that touches the lives of so many people, including my own family. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success.”

At Gateway Qualifications, supporting colleague wellbeing and creating opportunities for people to connect remains an important part of our culture.
