Gateway Qualifications is celebrating awards success for the fourth consecutive year, having once again been recognised by the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB). This year, the organisation proudly received the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Award.
The award recognises Gateway Qualifications’ commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued, empowered and respected. Our DEI framework guides all aspects of our work, supporting staff and learners of every ability and ensuring that qualifications are developed, delivered and awarded fairly and accessibly.
Commenting on the achievement, Fabienne Bailey, Chief Executive of Gateway Qualifications, said:
“We are honoured to receive this award, which reflects our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. At Gateway Qualifications, we believe in creating an environment that celebrates differences and ensures fair opportunities for all. This recognition reinforces our determination to break down barriers and increase participation in vocational and technical education.”
Now in its 10th year, the FAB Qualifications and Assessment Excellence Awards recognise the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees over the past year to education and skills.
Commenting on the awards, Rob Nitsch CBE, the Federation’s chief executive, said:
“Huge congratulations to this year’s worthy winners. Their achievements exemplify industry-leading excellence. It has been inspiring to hear how the qualifications and assessment community continues to drive positive change, and a privilege to come together to celebrate its ongoing impact.”
Gateway Qualifications is proud to receive this award, which reflects the dedication of its staff and recognised centres in embedding accessibility and inclusion across qualifications and assessments. Looking ahead, the organisation remains committed to strengthening its approach to DEI and ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
This latest accolade brings Gateway Qualifications’ total to eight FAB awards, with previous wins including Qualification of the Year and Learner of the Year.
