In the lead up to the new academic year, we completed a qualification review to ensure our qualifications remain current, relevant and trusted.
Revised specifications were published on 1st August 2026, while existing learners continue on the specifications they originally registered against.
Here’s a reminder about which specification should be used:
- Learners registered before 1st August 2026 should continue to be delivered, assessed and certificated using the legacy specification. These can be found in Prism and are clearly labelled to help distinguish them from current versions.
- Learners registered from 1st August 2026 onwards should be delivered, assessed and certificated using the latest specification, which are available on our website. These can be found on each qualification page on the Gateway Qualifications website.
