Assessment Guidance

The focus of the assessment for this unit is on team-working skills. However, it is expected that the underpinning teaching and learning will help develop learners’ awareness of
• ground rules for effective teamwork
• different ways in which individuals can contribute to team tasks.

Aim

To develop learners’ team-working skills.

Unit Learning Outcomes

Be able to plan as part of a team.

Assessment Criteria

    Communicate about and agree team goals.

    Actively listen to the ideas of others, showing respect for different views.

    Identify some of the tasks needed to meet team goals.

    Suggest ways in which they could contribute to the team task.

    Communicate in a respectful way with other team members during the task.

    Offer help to other team members when it is requested and seek help when needed.

    Complete the aspects of the task they were allocated.
