Aim

To ensure that learners are able to present and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner in the workplace.

Unit Learning Outcomes

Present self appropriately in a work setting.

Assessment Criteria

  • 1.1

    Follow agreed guidelines for presentation in a specific work setting in relation to:

    • cleanliness and tidiness
    • clothing.

Conduct self appropriately in a work setting.

Assessment Criteria

  • 2.1

    Attend work setting as agreed, except in exceptional circumstances such as illness.

  • 2.2

    Turn up on time (e.g. at beginning of shift and after breaks).

  • 2.3

    Follow agreed guidelines for conduct in a specific work setting when:

    • carrying out tasks
    • interacting with colleagues and/or customers.
