    Identify main benefits to self of having a job.

2. — Know about ways of working.

  • 2.1

    State the main differences between:

    • paid and unpaid work
    • employment and self-employment
    • supported and open employment
    • full and part-time work.
  • 2.2

    Identify way(s) of working to suit own needs and preferences.

3. — Know about areas of work.

Assessment Criteria

  • 3.1

    Give examples of different workplaces in own local area, or of particular interest to self, and associated job roles.

  • 3.2

    Identify key features of different job roles relevant to their abilities, interests and aspirations.

4. — Know about sources of information, advice and guidance about work.
