  • 5.1

    carry out basic plumbing tasks to include

    a) cutting gutters and rainwater pipe

    b) jointing gutters and rainwater pipe

    State the correct fixing distances for support.

    State the correct incline required for the gutter. 


Be able to install plastic rainwater pipe and guttering. 

Installation details

  • setting up guttering brackets to falls and line and fixing to fascia

Assessment Criteria

  • 6.1

    Measure, cut and joint plastic rainwater pipe and gutters using appropriate techniques.

    Test the completed installation for water tightness.
