    Plan ideas for drawings for garden design from primary and secondary sources.

Be able to produce drawings. 

  • 2D materials and equipment: use of types of materials and equipment, e.g. pencil, pen, ink, charcoal, pastel, crayon, chalk, ink, eraser, ruler, drawing board, stencils, templates, ICT, computers, printers, scanners, photography, different papers, e.g. thickness, texture, card, etc.
  • Techniques: drawing & rendering techniques, e.g. shading, frottage, crosshatching, perspective, blending, impressing, wax resist, tracing, etc.
  • Working methods: materials; techniques; processes; technical terminology, etc.
  • Self-management skills: attendance; punctuality; completion within agreed deadlines; flexibility; taking responsibility, e.g. gathering materials, setting-up, tidying-up; self-motivation; assertiveness; readiness to improve own performance based on feedback, etc.

    Produce drawings using appropriate materials, methods and equipment.

    Annotate drawings using appropriate terms.
