Assessment Criteria

  • 1.1.

    Explain the role and responsibilities of a stage manager when planning a production.

  • 1.2.

    Explain how key processes in the production process are managed by a stage manager.

2. — Understand how to implement safe working practices throughout the production process.

Assessment Criteria

  • 2.1.

    Explain key legislation that is relevant to managing a production.

  • 2.2.

    Evaluate methods of implementing Health and Safety before, during and after a performance.

3. — Be able to undertake the responsibilities of a stage manager during a performance.

Assessment Criteria

  • 3.1.

    Demonstrate stage management skills for either:

    a) a minimum of two productions

    or

    b) two parts of a larger production

  • 3.2.

    Monitor Health and Safety during productions, acting on the identification of any concerns.
