1 — Create, reshape and combine 2D objects using Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

Assessment Criteria

  • 1.1

    Produce at least seven different complex 2D geometric objects including arcs, triangles and polygons.

  • 1.2

    Reshape these objects using all the object handles.

  • 1.3

    Produce combined 2D objects using three or more combining tools.

2 — Know how to produce 2D objects to given measurements using CAD.

    Produce complex 2D objects including arcs, triangles and polygons to given measurements.

3 — Know how to edit 2D objects using CAD.

  • 3.1

    Perform at least four editing techniques on 2D objects.

4 — Know how to produce a site survey drawing as the basis for a garden design.

    Produce a plan drawing of a complex irregular building using the wall palette.

    Produce a plan drawing of a complex irregular building using the wall palette.

5 — Know how to organise drawings into layers using CAD.

    Create a drawing clearly differentiated into at least two layers.
