Assessment Criteria

  • 1.1

    Identify different types and sources of information, advice and guidance (IAG) on careers in health, social care or social work.

  • 1.2

    Use careers IAG to build understanding of careers in health, social care or social work, including of the main responsibilities and activities associated with two or more different possible career options, and the key differences between them.

2 — Be able to assess career options in health, social care or social work.

Assessment Criteria

  • 2.1

    Review relevance of own skills, qualities, experience, training and/or qualifications for different careers in health, social care or social work.

  • 2.2

    Outline the advantages and disadvantages of different career options (eg time taken to train, level of salary, working patterns, work/life balance.

3 — Be able to plan for a career in health, social care or social work.
