In this unit, learners will learn how to write to communicate information, ideas and opinions clearly and effectively.

Be able to plan, organise and draft own writing.

    Gather and organise information for own writing.

    Work through sub-stages of planning and drafting to determine content, length, language and structure, appropriate to type of text, purpose and audience.

    Present information and ideas in a logical or persuasive sequence, using paragraphs where appropriate.
