Mental Wellbeing Qualifications Webinar
The number of mental health issues raised by both staff and learners is increasing. To address this issue head on, we worked with a large FE college to develop qualifications that help individuals look after their own mental wellbeing, as well as recognise and support the mental wellbeing of others.
For more information about the development of our Mental Wellbeing Awards at Entry Level 3 and Level 1, Qualification Development Consultant, Ruth Perry, hosted a webinar that discussed qualification content and looked at sample versions of the online, multiple choice assessments.
Mental Health Awareness
According to the Department of Health, at least one in four of us will experience mental health issues at some stage in our lives. As a result it’s important that colleges and training providers, as well as individual students, take the necessary steps to encourage mental health awareness and support for those experiencing concerns with mental wellbeing.
Students that feel confident about their mental health are more likely to engage positively with peers, be more productive and ultimately make a more valuable contribution to their studies.
