Gateway Qualifications is proud to announce that it has become the first Awarding Organisation to pass Ofqual’s technical evaluation for Digital Functional Skills (DFS).

Centres can now plan with confidence using our approved qualifications.

Gateway Qualifications was also the first Awarding Organisation to have Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) approved in 2020 and are now the EDSQ market leader with a 46% share. This announcement confirms our spot as digital literacy and skills qualifications experts.

Paul Saunders, Commercial Director at Gateway Qualifications, said: “Digital skills are increasingly important for life, study and work. We are pleased to be at the forefront of making these new but essential qualifications available to learners through colleges and training providers across England.”

Digital Functional Skills Qualifications are available at Entry Level 3 and Level 1 and ready for teaching from August 2023. The qualifications are government-funded in England for anyone who does not have key digital skills for today’s society, including in the workplace.
