As a result of the 2024 election being called, the funding for the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate was suspended, pending fresh consideration by the new government.
The new Government has now entered a consideration process for all policies that were made by their predecessors. They expect this could take 4-6 weeks, but it could take longer because of the summer recess period in Parliament.
Despite this pause in funding, we want to reassure you that our qualification is ready to be rolled out. In our recent webinar, we highlighted the significance of this qualification, its benefits to both learners and the sector, and discussed alternative options while we await the final decision regarding its funding.
