Aim

To enable learners to develop the skills they need to use aspects of numeracy in the workplace.

Unit Learning Outcomes

Be able to recognise when numeracy skills are needed in the workplace.

Assessment Criteria

    Identify situations at work where numeracy skills are needed.

Be able to use numeracy skills in a work context.

Assessment Criteria

  • 2.1

    Select and use different straightforward numeracy skills within simple, routine work-related tasks.

  • 2.2

    Identify any obvious errors made when using numeracy skills (e.g. if they have calculated the cost of travel to work as £1,000 rather than £10 per week).
