Assessment Criteria

  • 1.1
    Using at least three different sources, identify and extract specific, factual information where the overall context is clear, for example, train times, menus, tourist information, in response to four to eight questions or prompts on each occasion.
  • 1.2
    In at least two different contexts, each of approximately 50 words, identify simple instructions/guidance/requests, for example, for directions, following a simple recipe, buying/locating articles such as tickets, presents, food.
  • 1.3
    From at least one source of approximately 50 words in total, for example, a postcard/short message/letter/e-mail, identify feelings, such as likes and dislikes/preferences, expressed using simple, set phrases.
