Gateway Qualifications has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Higher Health UK, marking the start of a collaborative partnership aimed at supporting adults and young people through strengthened life‑skills learning.

The agreement brings together Gateway Qualifications’ expertise in regulated and non-regulated education with Higher Health UK’s established track record in delivering preventive, wellbeing-focused learning programmes. Higher Health UK’s work includes the Skills for Living programme, a structured, blended e-learning model designed to help people build confidence, improve their wellbeing, and develop essential life skills for work, study, and everyday life.

The collaboration will explore ways the two organisations can work together to broaden the support available to centres and learners, with a shared commitment to improving access, removing barriers and enabling people of all ages to thrive.

Fabienne Bailey, CEO of Gateway Qualifications, said:

We are delighted to be working with Higher Health UK. This MOU reflects our shared ambition to help people build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life and work. By collaborating, we can create new opportunities for providers and offer enriched support that responds to the needs of today’s learners.

Professor Sandeep Ranote FRCPsych, Chair of Higher Health UK, added:

The collaboration between Higher Health UK and Gateway is unique and one that can change lives through the most important tool we have: education. We believe that everyone is born with potential but not everyone is provided opportunity. This partnership will provide the opportunity for learners to reach their potential and, through skills and awareness, build better lives. It is through partnerships that we bring real power to create change.
