Unemployed and low waged adults to get full funding for level 3 courses from April, regardless of prior attainment.

From April the eligibility for full funding for the government’s Level 3 offer for adults is being expanded to include adults who are unemployed or earning less than the national living wage, regardless of prior attainment.

This will allow adults who have previously achieved a Level 3 qualification but now find themselves out of work or earning below the national living wage to undertake the training they need to reskill or upskill in order to find work or improve their employment situation.

The list contains the following qualifications from Gateway Qualifications, covering areas including Building and construction, Digital, Health and social care, Horticulture and forestry, Teaching and lecturing, and Warehousing and distribution:
