    The aim and purpose of the qualifications is for those in an Internal Quality Assurance role to gain the necessary skills and understanding to undertake and fulfil duties and responsibilities to internally quality assure the assessment of learning to the required industry standards.

    The Gateway Qualifications Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is intended for those who wish to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance without any requirement to practice.

    The Gateway Qualifications Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualification is intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.

    What is the purpose of this qualification?

    The aim and purpose of the qualifications is for those in an Internal Quality Assurance role to gain the necessary skills and understanding to undertake and fulfil duties and responsibilities to internally quality assure the assessment of learning to the required industry standards.


    Progression & entry requirements

    The approved age range for these qualifications is: 18+. There is no requirement for learners to have achieved prior qualifications. There are internal progression opportunities within the suite. Progression opportunities could be towards teaching, internal quality assurance and/or external quality assurance qualifications.
