The purpose of the Gateway Qualifications Level 4 Award in Project Management is to provide continuous professional development in the field of project management.
The Level 4 Award offers a high-level introduction to the concept of project management and associated tools and strategies
The qualification can support progression to a management role or a role with project management responsibilities, as part of a wider development package. Successful candidates might also progress to level 5 qualifications in business management, including the Level 5 Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation Projects.

Understanding of the concept of project management and what is involved in planning, managing and monitoring and evaluating projects.
