Our Product team are currently seeking experienced End-Point Assessment (EPA) Writers and Reviewers to support the development of high-quality assessments for the Digital Device Repair Technician ST0682 (Level 3) apprenticeship standard.
We are looking for individuals with specialist knowledge and practical experience in these areas to join our flexible wider workforce.

Key Purpose of the Roles
Role Title: End-Point Assessment Writer
As an End-Point Assessment Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality assessment materials that align with the relevant apprenticeship standard and assessment plan. You will:
- Create a range of assessment resources, including tests, mark schemes, observation records, grading materials, and question banks.
- Ensure all materials meet Gateway Qualifications’ design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and other stakeholders to shape assessments that are valid, reliable, and appropriately pitched.
- Maintain accurate records of development using mapping documents and other supporting tools.
- Respond constructively to feedback and make necessary amendments to ensure materials are fit for purpose.
Role Title: End-Point Assessment Reviewer
As an End-Point Assessment Reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing draft assessment materials to ensure they are high quality, compliant, and aligned with the relevant apprenticeship standard. You will:
- Conduct thorough reviews using Gateway Qualifications’ templates and guidance.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure assessments are appropriately pitched in terms of level, content, and scope.
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and other contributors to refine and enhance EPA materials.
- Maintain accurate records of review actions and outcomes and contribute ideas for ongoing development.
What we are looking for:
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of the relevant apprenticeship standards.
- Proven experience in assessment development and/or review.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
