Stansted Airport College was officially opened today by local MP and chair of the Education Select Committee, Robert Halfon MP (pictured below) and Ken O’Toole the airport’s CEO.
The college is a partnership between Harlow College and London Stansted Airport (MAG) and is the first of its kind in the country.

Outside, the college has it own Bombardier Challenger 600 jet allowing trainees the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience on real aeroplane.
Gateway Qualifications worked closely with the college to develop a brand new Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Aviation Services for use at the centre.
