To assist you with remote delivery, we wanted to share helpful resources that can be a great help when creating learning programmes or lesson plans for your learners as they continue their studies from home.
A list of third-party website links, grouped into subject areas. Types of resources include lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, presentations.
ESOL Teaching and Learning materials
Within our selection of ESOL materials, you’ll find ‘Activities to do on your own’ booklets which contain tasks that learners can complete at home. We are making these activity booklets freely available to everyone on the link below, whether or not you use our ESOL qualifications.
As you continue to plan lessons you may benefit from expert guidance provided by qualification consultants we work with and who present a number of our webinars. A few webinars that may be particularly helpful include:
- Helping ESOL learners to become more confident readers
- Access to HE assignment brief writing
- Good practice in assessing Entry Level qualifications
We are continuing to run webinars over the coming months and will adapt our programme to reflect the changing needs of centres at this time, so do keep an eye on our website, social media and emails for more details.
White papers and guides
Further delivery assistance can be found in our selection of whitepapers and guides. Titles such as Embedding English and Maths and Demonstrating good practice in personal development, behaviour and attitudes may have you adopting a different and more productive way of teaching.
Education Training Foundation (ETF) support webinars
The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is running a series of free, online webinars to support colleagues across the Further Education (FE) and Training sector who are working from home to support students. Full details are available on their website.
