Vocational Qualifications

Gateway Qualifications offers a range of innovative, flexible and dynamic vocational qualifications that are valued and meaningful and which will develop the skills necessary to gain employment or to progress through further study.

Many of our Vocational Qualifications share common units and can be combined in flexible and innovative ways to deliver the most appropriate curriculum for your learners.

Graded versions of our most popular subjects at Level 2 provide stretch and challenge for those wishing to progress to Level 3 in the sector or a related area. And, like their ungraded counterparts, they are assessed through a portfolio of evidence.

Our Vocational Qualifications ensure that learners develop the technical competence that employment demands and also the soft-skills that employers value which often make the difference at interview stage. For those still undecided on a career path we have a complementary taster qualification which is available across many sectors.

A flexible approach that works for providers and learners

Flexible assessment with project-based working and shared units across many qualifications facilitate crossfaculty teaching and easy course transfer. In addition there are taster courses in many areas and movement between different sectors reduces non-completion rates.

All this results in a flexibility of approach which matches qualifications to individual learner needs with multiple entry points that allow optimisation of class sizes and learner routes into courses.

And taking care of budgets too

Affordability and resources are never out of the equation and multiple entry points and co-teaching options contribute to best value solutions.
