Qualifications for learners aspiring to work in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

The purpose of these qualifications is to enable learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that will enable them to progress to further learning or training qualifications in Engineering at a higher level. They also provide learners with the opportunity to develop wider personal and employability skills with optional units in personal, learning and thinking skills and employability.

The employability skills and bitesize English and maths units are common across a number of qualifications, enabling easy transfer of credits between qualifications and supporting opportunities for cross-faculty working.

Our suite of qualifications allows learners studying engineering to develop knowledge across a range of subjects, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Performing Engineering Operations, and Technical Certificates in Engineering.
