Within the Health, Science and Social Care Access to Higher Education Diplomas students will cover a range of disciplines such as:
- Concepts of Health and Healthy Living
- Psychology and Abnormal Psychology
- Research
- Science including Biology and Chemistry
- Social Science
- Sociology
- The Health Sector.
The Diploma will prepare students for the demands of study at University or in some other form of training or employment within the health and care sector, across a range of disciplines. The Diploma will provide students with opportunities to explore these sectors before opting for a specialism. The Diploma will also help students towards developing their individuality, improving problem solving skills, using initiative and thereby increasing their overall confidence.
