English Qualifications

Prepare your learners to take the challenge of Functional Skills or GCSE English with bite-sized qualifications covering the adult core curriculum to boost their confidence by enabling them to address their areas of weakness.

The Gateway Qualifications Awards in English are available from Entry 1 to Level 2. At each level, they build into a larger Award covering Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening; and finally into a Certificate in English.

All of the English qualifications are assessed through a portfolio of evidence, to allow you to design the most appropriate assessment for your learners.
