Features of Gateway Assured

Structure

We don’t expect your training to look like a qualification. Simply
submit details of your training package(s) which will include:

  • the training’s aims and objectives
  • the training materials
  • details of how you will assess that the trainees have met these  aims and objectives
  • evidence of a clear structure for the sessions.

Evaluating Learning

One of the ways we can help you to evaluate your trainees’ progress is to support you to produce online multiple-choice quizzes for use in your training if you require them, or we can upload your current multiple-choice quizzes or assessments to our system to provide computer marked results. There may be a small additional charge for this.

Certificates

  • will show that the training package has been approved by Gateway Qualifications, a nationally recognised awarding organisation
  • can include the name of your organisation and your logo (or an employer if a training provider is working with a specific employer) as well as Gateway Qualifications’ Gateway Assured logo
  • will evidence that trainees have attended a training event using Gateway Qualifications’ approved training packages.

Gateway Skills Passport

The Gateway Skills Passport is an additional optional feature of all Silver and Gold schemes, particularly useful for training that has a number of modules or components, such as a traineeship. It captures each trainee’s learning, newly developed skills and experiences in one handy document. This ‘passport’ can be used to demonstrate to employers that trainees have completed a substantial training course and have acquired a wide range of skills.
