How do I access external assessment papers?

A Few Points to Note…

ESOL

  • Entry Level ESOL papers (E1, E2 and E3) – papers are available to self select in the Cohort Documentation option.  An attendance register is not required at these levels.
  • If tasks can be sat at different times, the papers will be available separately.
  • Speaking and Listening – sound files will also be available
  • Regardless of whether a sitting is Online or Paper-based, you MUST download and complete the Attendance Register for every sitting held (Level 1 and 2 only).

Functional Skills

  • Entry 1 to 3 English (Reading and Writing) – Six tasks will be available, from which learners must sit two. Centres may select two tasks but are responsible for ensuring no learner sits the same task more than once.
  • Regardless of whether a sitting is Online or Paper-based, you MUST download and complete the Attendance Register for every sitting held (Level 1 and 2 only).
  • Functional Skills L1 and L2 English is split into 3 separate programmes (Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening)

Online Assessments

The process:

  1. Click ‘Actions’ and select ‘Your Cohorts’
  2. Click to select the cohort ID
  3. Click the ‘Cohort Documentation’ button
    • All available papers will be displayed to select and print
    • The Assessor Pack for the paper is also displayed and should also be printed
    • Attendance Registers MUST be printed for both Paper-based and Online assessments
