How to schedule an assessment for Level 2 ESOL Reading and Writing
- These paper assessments MUST be booked in QuartzWeb
- They are scheduled for a specific day
- An Attendance Register for every sitting held MUST be downloaded and completed
- Papers appear in QuartzWeb (under Cohort Documentation) from 5 days before the assessment
- Uploading papers after marking and internal moderation – A secure upload link will be provided to your centre by our Quality Team for the submission of marked papers
Scheduling learners:
Once the learners have been registered via QuartzWeb, a confirmation email will be issued to advise you to log back in and book the assessment
- Go to Actions and select Your Cohorts
- Select the cohort ID from the list displayed
- A full list of learners will be displayed. Click All to select all learners if they are all taking the assessment at the same date and time chosen. Clicking Uncheck All will remove this selection
- Individual learners can be selected by clicking the box within the submit column (for learners sitting at different times)
- Click Results and select Assessment Scheduling
- Select the date of the assessment and ensure the same date is selected in both calendars
- Enter estimated start and end times for all assessments taking place on the day. This is informative information and therefore you will still be able to sit the assessment outside of these times on the selected date.
- Click Submit
- Click Confirm if all details are correct
- A confirmation screen will appear – Click Continue
- The screen will then return to the E-Assessment booking page and further assessments can be booked if required
- Once the booking is accepted, an email advising the assessment documents are available to download will be sent 5 days prior to the assessment day.
