    Rules of Combination

    Learners will have to complete a total of 40 credits, including 4 credits from the Mandatory Group, a further 22 credits from Optional Group O1: Creative and Media, remaining 14 credits can be taken from either Optional Group O1 or Optional Group O2: Employability.

    What is the purpose of this qualification?

    The qualification provides an introduction to different areas of Creative Media. Learners take one mandatory unit and then choose from a variety of practical units in different aspects of Creative Media and from Employability units.


    What skills, knowledge, or understanding does this qualification develop?

    Learners will develop the ability to create a media product and to work with different media eg graphics, video, photography.


    What are the progression options?

    Learners who complete the qualification could progress to a range of level 2 vocational qualifications in creative media and related areas.
